Healthy Living

This is all about living a healthy life. How I will differ the American eating habits and lifestyles from ours. I was surprised when I came over here and noticed how drinking pop is an ordinary thing to do to most Americans. I drink a lot of water because this is how we were taught since we were young. And fast-food restaurants are not part of our daily lives. We eat breakfast every morning, some skips for their “diet” reasoning. But only those people who are earning above the minimum can afford having breakfast at McDonald’s or other restaurants. It’s really expensive if you do it everyday.

I couldn’t agree more with you. Have you watched Michael Pollan’s “cooked” the water series? It explains a lot.. I’m reading David Servan Schreiber- anticancer. You should check it out too.

I have that book too and it’s really interesting to know simple things that a lot of us don’t care about. After reading that book, I’m now paying more attention about the food I eat and types of oil, flour, etc. I buy and the daily activities I do. It also inspires me in some way to write a book about healthy lifestyle and eating habits.

I’m glad that you know about the book. The more the better. It has changed our lifestyle. I really watch about what I eat now. I try not to go too crazy but I am glad that it has opened my eyes. PS. How did you get started about writing? Did you study about it? I know that I love writing but it is not my background – so I really admire that you actually write books. Congrats!

Very true. The other night, we had our 87 year old friend who told me that during his days, people eat healthier food than today’s which I agree because the kind of busy life that most people have is incredibly alarming. But working on it and managing our time effectively I think is a good start to a healthier life!
