January recap

I apologize for the radio silence, my readers. This month of January was quite busy for me. I’ve been trying to blog more often but things get in the way. But I’m happy that I have this feeling that I’ll be back in the groove of writing. As you might know, I just started my new job a week ago and I’m loving it. My husband is trying to be funny that he told me to wait if I will still say this after six months. Ah ha ha! But seriously speaking, I really like my job even though I’ve been there for only a week. I have nice coworkers and the good background of company is enough reason to like this new job. The person who trains me is so nice and the whole environment as a whole has very good spirit and teamwork. I know this is premature for me to say this but I can see myself working this for so long if everything keeps the same way.

Another thing I’m working on as of late is to get my MBA. To be honest with you, it’s not that easy as I thought it would be but I’m just so grateful that the college admission counselor that’s assisting me is helpful enough for questions and help I need.

I’m working hard on finishing the first draft on my second book. At the moment, I’m writing here and there and will organize all the chapters I’ve already written these coming weeks. Half of my hour lunch break will be writing time at the break room.

Teaching our daughters life skills. And cleaning is one of those. My goal this year is to spend more time with our girls as they’re growing up too fast. My husband and I were talking the other day how crazy to think that Marie will be eight and Olivia will be seven this summer. They were just newborns a few years ago and here we are, a few years to go we’ll have teenagers! But of course, our job as a parent is to be their teachers in the real world too. They’re involved in house chores and they do their own homework which makes it easier for my day.

No matter how busy my day is, I’m enjoying every bit of it and I hope you too!

Have a great week, everyone!
