Day by day

Olivia reviewing all the words she learned from school

I could’ve posted this last night but I got too tired, fell asleep and didn’t finish my writing at all and right now, I I know I will.  I got very busy these past few weeks between my full-time job and doing other commitments. What I mean by other commitments are errands, activities, social gatherings and meeting with my exchange students.

My sleeping time is doing great. I know as of typing, I’m past my sleeping time. But I know I’ll survive tomorrow even though I won’t complete my 7 (or 7.5) hours of sleep.

Why?

It’s Friday, everyone!

No matter how tired I get every time I come home, I always feel happy to be with our girls. They’re my big helpers. They do their own homework. They read books on their own. They help to clean the house and do other chores. And the best part is, they can entertain themselves!
We get up at 6 o’clock in the morning. Our morning is a little bit hectic. I always prepare breakfast which they prefer rather than eating breakfast at school and besides, it doesn’t take me so much time. Pancakes, Pop-Tarts, toast and a glass of milk are staples here. I only eat eggs or toast in the morning.

At 6:30, I should be in the shower and before 7 am, the girls start dressing up and we all get ready.

At 7 am, we are all packing up (my lunch bag, girls’ book bags, etc) and we should leave the house by 7:30 am so that I won’t get late at work. I don’t get home until 5:30 pm, the latest, unless I have to do some groceries or meeting with someone or with exchange students.

My internet surfing is limited now. I try to sneak in sometimes but doing the night routine is in high priority for me. I know I’ve been saying this but I hope my blogging routine gets back to normal again.

xoxo

The girls are absolutely adorable. I like that they are involved in housework, i think this really shapes us for the future. Thanks to my mom who lured me from an early age, I find house chores relaxing and a way to free my mind. Try not to let your sleep suffer though, it’s equally important 🙂 Have a nice weekend.

Thank you! I always satisfied every time I get more things done at home especially when it comes to chores. I feel less guilty when the weekend ends when I see the house is in order.
      Have a great weekend, Marie!
